Death on the Beach

Walking on the beach with Jahsh and we came upon this little thresher shark. The crows and the tonbi were swarming around him munchin down. I wish he could have made it without washing up here. He looked pretty healthy. Made me wonder how he came here to his fate.

A DAY of SURF

Finally a day off when there is surf. Last night a storm came through and brought with it some wind, heavy rain,and most impoqtant of all SURF. I woke up,took Jake to school and then paddled out at kabune for a couple hours of decent uncrowded surf. I had the whole break with three other guys. Afterwards, the wife Kai and I enjoyed some good grinds at Yuuki. The boys had swimming lessons and after that I ended up at the beach for some beers. It's a BBQ day so I'll be on my home here in a bit to fire up the grill.
